Hooper-Lee-Nichols House, built by physician Richard Hooper. Home of Joseph Lee, Mandamus Councilor and a founder of Christ Church. Later a home of George Nichols. A renegade provincial congress met here during the pre-Revolution years. The ballustrade was originally an interior decoration of St. Paul's Cathedral.
